Students enjoy many benefits as Melody Masters. Each student receives a Chromebook to be used at school and home as long as they are enrolled. They have school-specific emails related to all online education accounts such as Kahn Academy and DuoLingo. Each student has access to a Super DuoLingo membership, frequent field trips and activities, and a $700 annual stipend towards extracurriculars. All of these benefits are included in the tuition.

Students come to class from 8am to 12pm Monday through Friday. Children study somewhat independently for this time. The first hour is dedicated to 15-minute weekly check-ins with in-person students. The rest of the time, the teacher jumps between students to meet their needs and answer questions. There is a half hour break to socialize and play at 10am. This independent approach to education encourages intrinsic motivation and self-discipline.

Students meet one-on-one with the teacher to discuss their learning plans for the week. These check-ins are scheduled during the first hour of a school day. During each check-in, the student and teacher work together to analyze how the previous week has gone, and to plan for the next to ensure a reasonable pace and plan that matches the needs of each student.

Virtual Students log their hours digitally using Clockify. They can log in and off at any time, as long as their hours are meeting the minimum of 800 per year. Students and parents communicate any questions through email. These students also have weekly half-hour check-ins with the teacher via Zoom or FaceTime, contributing to their total hours. Parent-teacher conferences are also held virtually.

Students and parents are highly encouraged to apply for the “Utah Fits All” Scholarship if there are concerns about funding.

Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled quarterly. During this time, parents, student, and teacher meet to discuss how the learning process is going, and tackle any challenges that need to be met. Although this only happens every three months, parents are welcome and encouraged to reach out to the teacher should any questions or concerns arise.

Tuition can be paid on an annual or month-to-month basis. The annual plan is 15% cheaper. The full prices break down as follows:

In-person:

- Monthly: $540

Virtual:

- Annual: $4,675

- Monthly: $460

Additionally, multi-child families have the benefit of 10% off of the tuition of each additional child enrolled after the first.
